Specialist course – Fit Testing Respiratory Protection

About the course
According to ISO 16975-3, a fit test must be carried out for filtering respiratory protection. Appropriate skills must be acquired in order to carry out a fit test.
This 3-day course teaches the necessary knowledge and develops skills. After passing the examination, the course is completed with the certificate “Specialist Fit Testing Respiratory Protection”.
Course objective
- You have a good basic knowledge of respiratory protection.
- You can support people in the correct use of respiratory masks.
- You recognize poorly fitting respirators.
- You know the methods and monitoring devices for fit testing.
- You can explain the purpose and exercises of Fit Testing.
- You can prepare and carry out the fit test.
- You can troubleshoot should problems occur during fit testing
- You can interpret the results of the fit test.

- Completed apprenticeship or corresponding professional experience
- At least 3 years of professional experience
